In the service of Jesus Christ, we are a dynamic, growing, regional congregation whose vision is to love God; to nurture faith and spiritual growth; and to welcome, embrace, and serve each other, the community beyond, and a world we cannot yet imagine.

Room for everyone

Regardless of our individual life stories, we all share a divine connection as children of God, bound by the love of Jesus Christ. Members include lifelong Presbyterians, who have been part of this church for generations. Many have also journeyed from different faiths, and for some, WPC represents their first spiritual home.

God's Spirit fuels us to make a positive impact in the world around us. Everything we do intends to spread God’s love to others beyond our congregation. We are actively engaged in ministries in hunger, education, and justice – all things that might show the world a “glimpse of the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Democratic approach to decision-making

Selected members, known as elders, are chosen by our congregation for a three-year term to sit on a council, called a session. Pastors are also part of the Session, creating a unique blend of spiritual and lay leadership.
