We offer many ways for adults to grow in relationship with one another as they grow in faith in God. Whether it's Sunday morning Christian education, a parenting class, or a midweek Bible study or discussion group, our goal is to create environments where adults can learn more about God’s love and grace in a variety of ways.

Kate Bowler, a Duke Divinity School professor, studies the prosperity gospel, which equates wealth with God's blessing. At thirty-five, she seems blessed with a thriving career, a loving marriage, and a newborn son, until she is diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer.
This diagnosis forces her to confront her beliefs about control and failure tied to illness. Instead of finding comfort in the notion that everything happens for a reason, she discovers beauty in the uncertainty of life.
With humor and honesty, Bowler shares her journey, offering insights on dying and how it has transformed her perspective on living.
