Sponsor-A-Family

WPC sponsors about 50 families in need each season. Come to Hazelton Hall after the 10 am service on Nov. 28 or Dec. 5 to learn more or sign up. All gifts will be collected in Hazelton Hall following the 10 am service on Dec. 12.  Contact Mindy Steel at bob-mindy@sbcglobal.net or 614-209-9603 for more information.

Alternative Christmas

A way to give Christmas gifts that really make a difference in the world and help others in need. You can honor persons you love by supporting the local and worldwide ministries. Gift things like meals for Salem Elementary School children, seeds for Haiti, support for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Bibles for Romania, and more. Click above or visit Hazelton Hall after Sunday services.

Mitten Tree

We invite you to donate mittens, gloves, hats, or scarves to our Mitten Tree until December 31. Children or adults for several locations in Central Ohio will benefit. The Mary Lou Patton/Emma McCormick Mitten Tree is in Hazelton Hall. Presbyterian Women thanks you in advance.

Christmas Joy Offering

The Christmas Joy Offering will be received Sunday, December 19.  This special offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA) provides financial assistance to individuals and families who have dedicated their lives to the church and supports education for racial ethnic students attending Presbyterian-related schools and colleges. Your generous giving truly makes a difference. Checks can be made to WPC – memo: “Christmas Joy Offering” or you can give through easyTithe anytime between now and December 26.

Advent Activities

Christmas Caroling & Cocoa on the Village Green

November 28 at 4:45 p.m.
Help spread the Christmas spirit by singing carols on the Village Green before the Worthington Christmas tree lighting. All singers and enthusiastic participants are welcome, all ages! Festive Christmas attire is encouraged.

Advent on High

December 2 at noon
WPC joins two other “High Street churches” to once again present a set of three noontime musical programs. These events provide an opportunity to step away from the frenzy of the season and to restore your spirit through 30 minutes of music for the season.

Neighborhood Caroling

December 10 at 7 p.m.
Join our Preschool and WPC families for a "Neighborhood Caroling" parade. We will start at the church, stopping at several homes to sing Christmas Carols. Treats and surprises are planned along the way. We will finish the night at the church at 7:30 pm with hot cocoa in the parking lot. Everyone is invited: families, singles, empty nesters, grandparents, and teens.
