FAQ's

How long does the wall build take?
Depending on the amount of leaders and volunteers you recruit, the build day will take approx. 3-4 hours.
How many wall panels will we build?
Your group will build all the walls for the first and
second floors of one house. There are approximately
60 wall panels in our typical house of varying sizes
and complexity. The exact number of wall panel
sections your particular team will build is dependent
upon the number of leaders and volunteers you
recruit and the complexity of your group's assigned
wall panels.
Can I bring my child or grandchild?
Yes – if they are ages 10 and up and accompanied by a parent/guardian.
What if I am not skilled at construction work?
You do not need to be skilled with construction or have previous experience. We will work in teams, and there will be crew leaders to teach you everything you will need to know!
What should I wear?
Please wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or possibly damaged. Hard-soled, closed-toed shoes are required. Pants are recommended, but shorts are acceptable in warm weather.
The Northside Partnership is a coalition of churches that come together to sponsor a Habitat home each year.
