Our Mission Committee will be purchasing and assembling Thanksgiving Dinners for those in need. Our goal is for WPC volunteers to deliver 250 or more (full, ready-to-cook dinners) in boxes to local families in need on Tuesday, Nov. 26. School counselors prepare the lists of families.
DONATIONS:
We are receiving monetary donations after each service on Nov. 17 and Nov. 24. We estimate that each dinner costs about $65.00. Checks are payable to “Worthington Presbyterian Church.” Please note “Thanksgiving Dinners” on memo line. You can also contribute online.

This project was started by Marylou Posey while teaching at Whetstone High School. Last year we provided the food for a Thanksgiving meal for 250 families. Most dinners were delivered to families with children in Worthington schools. We also delivered meals to families at Salem Elementary, Hamilton Elementary, and Alvis Moore in Columbus.

- Saturday, November 23 at 11am: Carry in food to Hazelton Hall; bag fruit and potatoes
- Monday November 25 at 6pm: Pack dinners into boxes - a project for the whole family!
- Tuesday, November 26 at 8am: Drivers deliver the dinner boxes to area schools
