PURPOSE:
To share the love of Jesus Christ with area families by providing food for preparing a Thanksgiving dinner.
BACKGROUND:
This project was started by Marylou Posey while teaching at Whetstone High School. It has been continued by Mission Ministry at Worthington Presbyterian Church. Last year we provided the food for a Thanksgiving meal for 250 families. Most dinners were delivered to families with children in Worthington Schools. We also delivered meals to families at Salem Elementary, Hamilton Elementary, and Alvis Moore in Columbus. We provide a dinner for each WPC custodian.
